To my recollection, I’ve never done a gingerbread house before. My father-in-law was given a set and we…eh….worked some “Christmas Magic” on it.
It kind of looks like a third-grader did it. But I’m okay with that.
Additionally, there were Christmas cookies…a nativity set. In Alaska, there was a moose at the manger. Thought you’d like to know. Since Joey broke his front leg off while moving him to the baking sheet, I made him a peg leg.
In other recent news, I have actually started a knitting project that I intend to finish. When your husband requests a hat, you make him a hat. And when he mentions making one for a friend, you do that too. It’s going to be a simple watchcap, and I bought some Lion Brand Fisherman’s Wool. It looks all manly and rustic, like it came straight off the sheep. With the poop and dirt removed, of course. Hopefully.
It’s yet another late-night and I’m wide awake. I’m not sure if it’s because I got too much sleep last night, or if it’s because I had a crap-ton of sugar tonight, or if I’m excited about getting to sing in the choir again for the first time in over four months.
Looks like it’s going to be another midnight marathon of Dirty Jobs and Criminal Minds.
Hey, that gingerbread house looks great!!!
I think the house looks just fine. Excellent surgery on the moose.
the fact that you just commented on my blog is freaking awesome:)
